Depth
/ Pressure
Pressure increases with increasing water depth and this characteristic is used to accurately measure water levels in bore holes and drains and to track the depth of water when profiling lakes, reservoirs and coastal environments. Water level loggers can be either vented or unvented giving relative or absolute pressure readings. This allows changes in the ambient air pressure to be compensated for when very accurate measurements are required. |
